After over a year, I have finally gotten the blog going again. I am currently working on a new episodic documentary following two brothers as they compete in the Redline Time Attack Series with their race-tuned Subaru.

A Gentle Walk has won two awards from the Accolade Film Competition. The film received an Award of Excellence, and I received an Award of Merit for the cinematography. You can visit the Award of Excellence winners HERE and the Award of Merit winners HERE.

I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you hacking into my Wordpress installation and changing my homepage. It was very good to hear that my film and production work was popular enough to attract the attention of some random vandal from Israel. With all the commercial businesses out there, with their professional web designers and managers getting paid lucrative amounts of money to maintain their blogs, it’s good to know that a small production company like mine can still have its website completely screwed up for a laugh.

A Gentle Walk Update

A Gentle Walk is now in finishing! The film has changed tremendously since the last screening. The main editing work is complete, all that is left to do now is color and sound work, and we’ll have a film. Last week I was in New York City with my co-editor and advisor, Valerie. We screened the film with great results. What I think hit me the hardest was that people were talking about it and arguing over the ideas it presented days later. Here are a few responses from the questionnaires:

Went skydiving the other day. What an insane experience. Definitely recommended.

In other news, I apologize for the lack of updates regarding A Gentle Walk. It is still in Post, and has been on the backburner for the last few months, while both my editor, Valerie and I have been trying to make ends meet. The next few months will be a very big push, and I hope to have it finished by the end of the year.
